Principally I have re embraced an animisitic outlook. Animism is the understanding that all things have beingness whether seen or unseen, and that as a result all things are connected and relational. I could better define animism as the state of ‘being in community with all things, seen or unseen’. This understanding is healing in its own right, but though contact with unbroken animistic traditions still thriving, I have learnt and am still learning, specific methods and techniques to help the individual on the healing path back to relationality and planetary community.
While I may sound very woowoo, I dont think I really am. I live and belong in my community, not in the “spiritual community”. I had a shop in London for twenty years, support the football team of my birth town and like a pint and a game of pool. Animism is literally everyones birth right. It is our evolutionarily consistant way of being. It where we feel at home, it is the lived experience of the vast majority of our ancestors and fellow beings.
I am not a teacher. But I know the traps of cultural materialism and want to helps others escape its bleak embrace. Neither am I a follower of any one spirituality or religeon. Nor do I condemn any absolutely. My main interests are finding the cracks in the Western narrative and practical, everyday techniques to shift our ways of being. This leads me to study and learn from many traditions and religeons as well as a deep interest in finding the woo that has been cut out or marginalised from the Western paradigm.
I currently live in London but offer remote support and sessions anywhere.
